The pharmacological activity of genuine medicinal materials Radix Hedysari was analyzed in order to study the quality control techniques and research progress of genuine medicinal materials Radix Hedysari.The progress was summarized on the study of fingerprint in genuine medicinal materials Radix Hedysari at the basis of the preliminary comparison of the traditional research methods.Fingerprint technology of Chinese medicine（TCM） fingerprint is the effective method to control the quality of Radix Hedysari.Furthermore,the problem was analyzed on the fingerprint application in the study of Radix Hedysari and the research prospect was forecasted.
