On the social relationship between public opinion and the law

社会舆论与司法是现代社会两股重要力量。由于我国的舆论和法制还未成熟,致使两者在很多方面出现了紧张的对立。在法治改革中要努力实现两者的良性互动,加强社会舆论对法律的监督,加快法治民主化进程,同时,也要对社会监督进行法制保障和规范,从而发挥两者的优势,共同促进社会主义民主法治建设。

Public opinion and justice are two important force in modern society.As public opinion and the legal system in China is not yet ripe, resulting in many ways the two tense confrontation occurred.The rule of law reform should strive to achieve the positive interaction between the two ,to enhance public opinion of legal oversight, speed up legal system democratization process, while also supervising the conduct of legal protection of the community and the specification to utilize their advantages, and jointly promote the community democracy and rule of law doctrine.
