C～kit是一种原癌基因，它编码跨膜的酪氨酸蛋白激酶受体，该受体的配体是干细胞因子（stem cell factor，SCF）。SCF是一种重要的造血因子，SCF与C—kit结合对正常造血细胞、肥大细胞、黑色素细胞、生殖细胞的增殖和分化以及肿瘤细胞的增殖和恶性演进等起着重要的调节作用。其中，在精子发生过程中，c—kit／SCF信号系统对胚胎期原始生殖细胞的迁移、增殖以及出生后的精子细胞形成都有着重要调节的作用。

c - kit is a kind of proto - oncogene which encodes a transmemberane tyrosine kinase receptor. The binding with its ligand stem cell factor （SCF） functions in several major cell systems, including hematopoiesis, melanogenesis, the gastrointestinal tract, and gameto- genesis. In gametogenesis, c - kit/SCF system plays a regulate role in the migration and proliferation of primordial germ cells during embryonic development, post- natal germ cells and spermatogenesis.
