Employing rubric as a new form of assessment proves to be a necessity in the context of College English Reform.As a guiding tool for both teachers and students as well as an assessment tool,rubrics can effectively enhance students＇ use of language.Some problems and standards concerning developing and employing rubrics are also discussed in this paper.
