通过对义乌地名的详尽梳理和归纳，揭示出义乌地名的主要命名理据包括地形地貌特点，宗族姓氏，宗教相关事物、人工建筑物，传说故事、美好愿望或谐音雅化，贸易或物产等五大理据，有助于义乌地名的保护、规范、开发和利用。
By detailed carding and rigorous generalization, the sources of geographical names in Yiwu are revealed, which can be classified into five sources： topographical features, family names of clans, religion-related things and artificial structures, legends and good wishes or homonymic words, trade and products. The research contributes to the protection, standardization, development and utilization of the geographical names in Yiwu.
