世界湿地松引种经营之现状——兼谈我国的对策

Introduction and Management of Pinus elliottii over the World and China

本文综述了世界各国引种湿地松及其人工林经营的概况,总结了近十多年来人工林发展缓慢的原因,探讨分析了我国已出现或将面临的一些问题,并提出相应的对策。

Pinus elliottii Engelm has natural distribution in the USA, andhas been widely introduced in the world. Its present forest area is 7 mi-llion ha. About 74% is in uSA, and among the rest, 60% is distribu-ted in Asia and pacific region, 29% in Central America, and 11% in sout-hern African countries. In terms of artificial management, most countriesare inclined to produce pulpwood of short rotation, while USA, Argenti-na, Zimbabwe, Mauritius cultivate it to produce rosin. China has madegreat achievement in the cultivation of Pinus elliottii, with afforestedarea of more than one million ha., but also met some problems. It isneeded to widely collect gene resources, to carry on site investigation anddivision, to make wood category planning, to raise cultivation lavel. Aswell as to fully explore productive potential and to adopt vigorous meas-ures for conservation of productive capability of forest land.
