The paper describes a survey of the utilization situation of Beijing Academic Library ＆ Information System （BALIS） original - text delivery service by both of questionnaire and online inquiry in colleges and universities in Beijing. The result displays that BALIS original -text delivery service has got certain recognized, but some problems still exist, and websites have become major ways for readers to get documents which the libraries have not collected.
