专名指称的语用学探究

A Pragmatic Inquiry into the Reference of Proper Names

指称可分为指示、指谓和意向三个组分,专名私人指称正是通过指谓与意向之间内在结构性联系,才得以达至外部实在;由于指谓对象与意向对象之间存在胡塞尔意义上的鸿沟,只有消除这条鸿沟才能过渡到具有主体间性的意向对象,即外部实在对象,而唯一的途径就是保证履行指谓职责的摹状词的开放性。私人指称的最终确定因与指示的关系而各不相同,语境则在其中扮演着至关重要的角色。

Reference consists of denotation, signification and intention, and it is through the tuner structural connections between signification and intention that the private reference of proper names gets access to reality. Since there is a gap between the object of denotation and that of intention in the Hussedian sense, only by getting rid of that gap could we get access to the intersubjec- tive intentional object, i.e. the external real object. The only approach to achieving the goal is guaranteeing the openness of the description whose function is designation. And the final fixing of the private reference of proper names varies with the correspondence relationship between private reference and denotation, in which the context plays a key role.
