摘要
本文在超越对数生产函数的基础上,运用随机前沿分析模型对湖南省各市州1990~2008年的全要素生产率增长率进行了实证研究,并将湖南省划分为"3+5"城市群、湘南和湘西3个区块来进行分析。结果表明:湖南省3个地区的全要素生产率都有着不同程度的提高,其中"3+5"城市群增长最快,湘西地区增长最慢;从全要素生产率增长率的分解来看,技术进步是促进湖南省全要素生产率提高的主要因素,规模经济对全要素生产率增长的贡献其次,但技术效率的不断降低却给湖南省全要素生产率的增长带来了明显的负效应。
This paper,with the application of stochastic frontier analysis model on the basis of trans-log production function,conducts an empirical study of the total factor productivity(TFP)growth rate of the cities and prefectures in Hunan Province from 1990 to 2008.We divide Hunan Province into three parts:"3+5"urban agglomeration,the southern region and the western region.The results show that the TFP growth rate of the three regions increases in varying degrees and the"3+5"urban agglomeration grows the fastest versus the western region the slowest.The decomposition of the TFP growth rate reveals that technological progress is the key factor to boost the TFP and the economies of scale is the second contributor to TFP growth;but the constant decline in technological efficiency has an apparently negative effect on the TFP growth in Hunan Province.This makes us believe that more investment in science and technology,transformation of economic growth mode,improvement of technological efficiency and the overall consideration of all regions lead up to comprehensive and sustained development of the economy.
