Gao Xianzhi was the important general of the Tang Dynasty, also was the representative figure among Gaogouli immigrant descendants. His ancestral home was the Gaogouli, after the demise of Gaogouli, the grandparents immigrated to the territories of the Tang Dynasty, his father Gao Sheji may be the first-generation immigrant, may be the descendant of immigrants. Studying Gao Xianzhi＇s historical facts not only provide a new perspective to study the military system of the Tang Dynasty, especially as a typical case to study the immigrants and their descendants of Gaogouli.
