Once Upon a Time ：A Floating Opera is the one and only autobiographical novel of John Barth, which inherited the usual storytelling style. In the story, at the same time, Barth has explored the writing innovation and the diversification of the forms of his novels. In the process of storytelling, Barth is in fact talking about his early works and the novel itself, and this is apparently an outstanding creation.
