摘要
语言相对论是研究语言、思维与文化关系的最有影响力的理论,随着语言学一系列新兴学科的繁荣,语言相对论再度得到语言学家的关注。作者借人类语言学、认知语言学、社会语言学及二语习得等语言学学科的发展多维度重新思考语言相对论。
The linguistic relativity hypothesis states that there is a correlation between language, culture and thought. The advances in a series of linguistic disciplines have brought a renewed interest in the linguistic relativity hypothesis. In this paper, the author rethinks the hypothesis by examining its resurgence in various linguistic fields： anthropological linguistics, cognitive linguistics, sociolinguistics and Second Language Acquisition （SLA） .
