On Laozi and Zhuangzi's Way of Harmony and Its Significance

当代中国社会的不和谐主要表现在三个方面,即个体心灵的焦虑,人际关系的紧张,自然世界的报复。道家老子、庄子关于价值内在、生死一体、众生平等、为而不争、天人合一、知足有止的思想对于缓和这种不和谐有借鉴意义。

The contemporary Chinese social disharmony is mainly embodied in three aspects： the individual＇s anxiety, the tension of interpersonal relationship, and the revenge from nature. Laozi and Zhuangz＇s thoughts, such as inwardness of life＇s value, the unity between life and death, equality of all species, one making but not striving, the union between man and nature, being content with the present condition, will play a significant role in easing the tension of the disharmony.
