The college library is one of the three pillars in higher education. This paper summarizes three ways that the college library can serve teaching research more effectively, that is to ensure the supplies of various documents, to educate qualified librians and to develop the service of information investigation. Only in this way can we step up the transformation of technological results into productive forces.
