Discussion about research and development thinking of Chinese patent medicine

中成药的研发,应以中医药理论为指导,建立证型评定量表,病证结合,以证为主,采用中成药为对照,疗效重在证,而且中医药的毒副作用指标必不可少,在取得疗效的基础上,研究中医药的疗效机制,结合现代医学的生理、生化指标,开发出对病、证均有更好疗效的新型中成药。以此推动中医临床疗效的提高,继而带动中医药学术的发展。

The research and development of Chinese patent medicine should be directed by the theory of traditional Chinese medicine. The research and development thinking includes syndrome, comparing with the healing efficacy of Chinese patent medicine, laying stress on syndrome for healing efficacy, and getting the target of side effect. And the research and development thinking includes studying the mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine on the basis of getting healing efficacy, combining with the physiological and biochemical target of modem medicine, and developing new Chinese patent medicine with better healing efficacy toward disease and syndrome. Following the thinking, the clinical effect of traditional Chinese medicine will be improved, and learning of traditional Chinese medicine will be developed.
