Experience of Treating Lower Heating Scald with MEBO Ointment

目的:总结低热源烫伤的临床特点和有效治疗方法。方法:对作者在2007年～2009年期间治疗的38例低热源烫伤病历资料进行回顾性总结。结果:本院采用烧伤湿性医疗技术治疗病例21例,均自行愈合,未发生局部或全身感染;外院采用传统外科换药方法治疗17例,愈合时间延长,且有瘢痕增生。结论:低热源烫伤具有损伤面积小,深度偏深等特点,采用MEBT/MEBO治疗,可促进创面愈合。

Objective： To summarize clinical features and effective methods of treating scald caused by lower heating source. Method ： Retrospective summarization was made for 38 cases of lower heating source scald, who hospitalized from 2007 to 2009 in the hospital. Result： 21 cases treated with MEBT/MEBO were cured. No local or general infec- tion was observed. Other 17 cases received conventional surgical dressing care in other hospital had longer healing time and scar formation. Conclusion： Lower heating scald has some features including smaller size but deeper depth. MEBT/MEBO is suitable to treat them due to its advantage of promoting wound healing.
