高露洁脱敏抛光膏即刻改善牙本质敏感的疗效观察

Clinical Effects of Colgate In-office Desensitizing Paste in Providing Instant Relief of Dentin Hypersensitivity

目的评估临床应用高露洁脱敏抛光膏后牙本质敏感的即刻改善效果。方法牙本质敏感患者122例患牙215颗,洁治术后应用高露洁脱敏抛光膏,分别于抛光前、抛光后即刻采用冷空气喷吹法检测患牙的敏感程度,记录视觉模拟疼痛评分(visual analogue scale,VAS)值。结果 122例受试者,男性61例,女性61例,平均年龄(44.20±13.20)岁。患牙215颗,其中前牙86颗,前磨牙63颗,磨牙66颗。应用脱敏抛光膏后,73.95%的患牙敏感症状即刻完全缓解或部分缓解,所有患牙抛光前VAS值为56.52±19.68,抛光后VAS值下降为33.07±22.75,抛光前后差异有统计学意义(P<0.001)。结论洁治术后应用高露洁抛光膏对即刻改善牙本质敏感有一定的疗效。

Objective To evaluate the clinical effects of Colgate in-office desensitizing paste in providing instant relief of dentin hypersensitivity.Methods One hundred and twenty-two patients in general good health and with the presence of dentin hypersensitivity were selected at the general department of dentistry of Guangdong Provincial Stomatological Hospital.Subjects received a professional scaling procedure.For each patient,not more than two teeth with the worst symptom of dentin hypersensitivity were selected.Air blast dentin hypersensitivity examinations were performed,and subjects were asked to grade the sensitivity on a 100-mm visual analogue scale.Colgate Sensitive Pro-ReliefTM containing 8% arginine-calcium carbonate was applied to the gingival-facial third of the selected teeth using a rotating prophy cup.Hypersensitivity measurements on VAS were repeated immediately after paste application.Results A total of 122 subjects（61 male and 61 female） were enrolled in the study.The mean age of the selected patients was（44.20 ±13.20） with a range of 21 to 76 years.Of 215 teeth studied,86 were front teeth;premolars and molars were 63 and 66 respectively.There were significant reductions of 73.95% in air blast stimulated hypersensitivity after desensitizing paste application.The mean post-application VAS values were（33.07±22.75）,which is statistically significant decreased compared to the baseline measurements（56.52±19.68）（P0.001）.Conclusion Colgate desensitizing paste application following professionally scaling can provide an instant relief of dentin hypersensitivity.
