Newcastle Disease Virus(NDV) is an important disease in avian industry. Much work has been done onit. With the development of molecular biology, advanced studies have been made possible. This paper introduces somerecent advances in the research of Newcastle Disease Virus, concerning the genome of NDV, structural proteins, in-fectious basis and novel vaccine of bioengineering which may form basis for further scientific studies of NDV.
