保健型柚类新品种——马家柚

A New Breed of Healthy Pomelo——Majia Pomelo

马家柚是1980年代中期,在江西省广丰县大南镇马家自然村地方柚群体中选出的实生变异。该品种果大、囊红、优质、丰产、抗冻、耐贮,适应性强,果实中富含对人体有重要保健价值的番茄红素。1991年在江西省柚类鉴评会上被评为全省地方柚类第一名,2009年由江西省农作物品种审定委员会审定命名,同年被国家柑桔育种中心选入果树品种资源库。目前已在我国南方诸省推广栽植3 600 hm2。

Majia Pomelo is the pomelo seedings selected from a group of local pomelos growing in Majia village of Danan Town in Guangfeng County,Jiangxi Province in the middle of 1980s.It is a fruitful and storable breed with the advantages of big size,red flesh,good quality and freeze resistance.The lycopene of great value to human healthy is rich in Majia Pomelo’s flesh.Majia Pomelo was ranked the first among the local pomelos in Jiangxi Pomelo Appraisal Meeting in 1991.It was certified as a new breed of pomelo with the name＂Majia Pomelo＂by Jiangxi Crop Variety Approval Committee in 2009 and was selected into fruit tree resource database by National Citrus Breeding Center in the same year.Up to now Majia Pomelo has spreaded and been planted over 3 600 hm2 in the South of China.
