山西省区域经济差异研究

Study on the Disparities of Regional Economy in Shanxi Province

通过选取1992-2008年山西省11个地级市的人均GDP和地区人口数据,利用变异系数和基尼系数对山西省内区域经济差异演变特点进行分析,得出山西经济发展差异逐渐缩小,呈阶梯式下降的特点。据此将山西省经济发展差异分为1992-1993、1994-2002、2003-2008三个阶段;并通过定义M变量,运用回归分析方法得出经济差异缩小的原因与市场对煤炭的需求和煤炭行业的政策直接相关,在此基础上提出了相应的建议。

Regional economic disparities in Shanxi Province has been narrowing by stage and stage,which is concluded by analyzing the coefficient of variation and Gini coefficient with the data of 11 prefecture-level cities’ GDP and populations of Shanxi Province during 1992-2008.Regional economic disparities in Shanxi Province can be divided into three stages,1992-1993,1994-2002,2003-2008.By defining the M variable and using regression analysis,we prove that the main reason of the narrowing is directly related to the demand of coal market and the coal industry policies.Then we give our suggestions based on above reason.
