公共文化供给的宗教信仰挤出效应检验——基于河南农村调查数据被引量：57

摘要基于世俗化理论和宗教经济理论以及宗教精神合作社假说,本文研究了农村公共文化供给与农村宗教信仰之间的关系。基于村级和农户调查数据的研究结果表明:对于村庄而言,公共文化供给增加能够显著降低村庄内的信教比重;对于农户而言,公共文化供给能够显著降低农户的宗教选择概率和宗教参与程度。这说明,公共文化供给对宗教信仰具有挤出效应。这一结果可以对目前农村"宗教热"现象进行解释,农村公共文化供给的长期缺乏是农村"宗教热"兴起的推力之一。
