钱钟书比较文学研究的特质

The Specific Nature of Mr.Qian Zhongshu's Comparative Study of Literature

钱钟书作为比较文学大家而备受推崇,然而他自己却认为其方法不是通常意义的比较文学,而是"打通而拈出新意"。许多论著取"打通"之"通"而径直将钱钟书学术归结为影响研究、平行研究等,由于忽视钱钟书自我剖白中的"拈出新意"而失于简单偏颇。考察"打通而拈出新意"的实质以及钱钟书运用"打通"方法的情形,可以发现钱钟书学术带给比较文学研究的启示至少有二:为可比性问题提供了一条切实可行的解决途径;赋予比较文学中国学派以崭新内涵。

Mr.Qian Zhongshu is worshiped as a great master of comparative literature,however,he himself considered his means is not of comparative literature in general meaning,but a way'adopting new sense by connecting relevant knowledge'.Many works draw out the meaning of'getting through'knowledge and then put his academic research into influence approach,parallel approach and so on in general sense,but fail for ignoring his explaining himself of'adopting new sense'.The paper examines the essence of Mr.Qian's means of connecting relevant knowledge in detail examples,and finds that,his academic research brought to comparative literature at least two important points: offering a certainly possible means to settle the problem of comparability and bestowing a bright new content to the China's school of comparative literature.
