This paper introduces briefly the situation of water transportation in Jilin Province. It analyses the main problems existed in the shipping and navigation management of the Jilin Province, and states the new situation and new opportunity the shipping and navigation is facing. At last it puts forward a few countermeasures for promoting the development of water transportation cause of inner rivers.
