On November 10th,World Shipping(China) Summit 2010 held its concluding ceremony in Guangzhou.More than 1,000 delegates from shipping,logistics,ports,shipbuilding, iron and steel,ore,finance,banks,fund,securities and other related industries attended the annual meeting or joined panel discussions in the formal 6 sessions.Compared with previous annual meetings,the scale and the number of participants have reached an unprecedented level.The Summit is jointly organized by COSCO,Maritime China,Drewry and Journal of Commerce.The Summit receives an overwhelming response in shipping and related industries.The World Shipping (China) Summit,enjoying a reputation as the'Davos'of the industry,has developed into a senior exchange platform for the world shipping community and associated industries. Green shipping becomes one of the key words at this summit. COSCO issued'Guangzhou Manifesto'together with world harbor giants to propose the construction of the intelligent and the green harbor vigorously.This action initiates strong reaction in the international shipping and port,obtaining widespread praise of the conference representatives.
