The development of RPM technique at home and abroad was outlined, and the theories of RPM andthe process theories of SLS were introduced in this paper. Meanwhile their applied outlooks inwoodwork was also forecast. The author considered that the theories of RPM were the comprehensiveembodiment of wood-CAD. CNC, laser technique and control theories, and they were science directionof the comprehension and collection of modern manufacture technique and wood process technique.
