The emergence of crack for concrete dam is a common phenomenon,and the solution to this problem is a major challenge in the world.On the basis of summing up the construction experiences of the first and second phase dam of the Three Gorges Project,a set of specific construction technology and process for the construction of the third phase dam of Three Gorges Project is created after fine studies,improvement,testing and innovation from all aspects of construction.The application of these technology and process in the third phase construction of the Three Gorges Project has achieved a satisfactory result.No crack is found on the third phase dam and it is a wonder in the construction of gravity dam in the world.
