喀喇昆仑公路是我国连接南亚次大陆最重要的陆路运输线。经过十几年施工建设通车后,却因地质灾害破坏严重无法正常通车。调查研究发现,喀喇昆仑公路沿线自然和地质环境较差,灾害类型多,分布广,规模大,对此提出相应措施,有助于保证公路的正常运行。

Karakoran Highway is the most important overland transportation line connecting the Indian subcontinent with our country.During the operation of 10-odd years,the geological disasters are too serious to open to traffic.The investigation has showed that the natural and geological environments along the highway are poor and there are many kinds of disasters,which are widespread and large-scale.On the basis,relating measures are put forward,significant to the normal operation of highway.
