The practice for fine paper using slurry GCC as filler to substitute ordinary talcum powder was introduced. The result shows that the use of slurry GCC can increase the opacity of paper,reduce print-through and reduce linting and dusting. The effects are obvious in improving the product quality and reducing production costs.
