民间文艺、通俗文艺和大众文艺是历史上曾经依次出现过的审美文化形态,它们都是特定历史时期的产物,具有那个时代的独特烙印。不仅如此,而且它们在本质内涵、生产方式、消费模式、传播途径及作品功能等方面也有很大差异。民间文艺是来自下层集体创作的口传文艺;而大众文艺则是大众志趣与文化工业共谋的结果。弄清这一问题,对于建设正在展开的我国当代大众审美文化很有启发意义。

Folk culture,popular culture and mass culture are all aesthetic culture forms that once appeared in turn in history.They are all results of a peculiar period of history,and have some obvious characteristics of that times.Moreover,there are some great differences in essence and connotation,produced manner,consumed mode,mode of transmission and function among them.Folk culture is the traditional culture from collective creation,but mass culture is a collusive effort combined with mass interest and culture industry.The knowledge of their difference.
