Ashoka was the third generation King of the Indian Mauryan Empire.During the development of Indian civilization,Ashoka unified the India,promoted the Buddhism,enhanced imperial administration,and made efforts to set up public welfare establishments,all of which had made outstanding contributions to the development and dissemination of Indian civilization.
