The characteristics of graphic writing are very important to the international exchange. Graphic writing is a way through which designers aim to translate a kind of ideological concept, a piece of information and a culture by looking for ＂the frame of reference＂ in vision. This paper tends to forecast the future trend of graphic writing from such aspects as type, nature, characteristic, and function.
