The technology of poly(ethylene,2,6\|naphthalate) (PEN) by batch process was introduced. The influences of processing conditions such as catalyst and temperature on the synthesis process of PEN were discussed. And the prospect of its application in the field of fiber, film and bottle was also introduced briefly.
