Three Fundamental Relationships in the Study of Intellectual History

在思想史研究中,应该注意区分三大关系:间接研究对象与直接研究对象的关系,获得具体知识与获得抽象知识的关系,实证方法与理论方法的关系。这三个方面彼此紧密相关,构成思想史研究基本理论的有机整体。处理好这三对关系,对思想史研究甚至历史研究有重要的学术意义。

Three relationships in the study of intellectual history should be reconsidered.The first one is direct and indirect research object,the second is obtaining particular and general knowledge and the last one is positive and deductive method.Those three relationships are connected to each other and at the same time form the organic body of intellectual study.It is significant to clarify those questions in the study of intellectual history and in the general history as well.
