从语用视角看英汉互译中的文化传播

On Cultural Spread in English-Chinese Translation from Pragmatic Point of View

翻译属于文化活动。翻译推动译语文化的发展,又受到译语文化各种因素的制约。从语用学的角度考虑翻译策略是处理文化差异的方法之一。本文从两个方面论述了翻译与文化之间的关系:翻译对文化发展所起的作用、文化对翻译的影响与制约,以期在英汉互译中最大限度地减少文化不等值,真实地再现原文的面貌,增进民族间的文化交流。

Translation is a cultural activity.Translation promotes the development of the target culture while it is affected and even manipulated by the target culture.It is one of the important methods of dealing with cultural difference to regarding translation strategy from the pragmatic point of view.This paper states the relationship between translation and culture,namely,translation helps to develop the culture of target language and culture will influence and constrain translation,in order to improve culture equivalence during translation between English and Chinese.
