香港导演陈可辛执导的《投名状》改编自清末奇案——"刺马"案。从"刺马"案发生到《投名状》上映,其间有近140年时间的跨度,受"沉默的螺旋"舆论影响,该事件从单纯的刺杀官员血案衍变为马新贻"渔色负友"的故事传说,折射出晚清以来民间社会丰富且复杂的民意表达。

The Warlords,the film directed by Chen Kexin in 2007,was adapted from the Killing Ma Xinyi Murder,a murder took place in the late Qing dynasty.From that time to 2007,about 140 years slipped by.During that period,affected by the communication of spiral of silence,the murder had been illustrated from a simple killing-official crime to a legend about killing brother and taking his wife by force,which had revealed the abundant,complicated public opinion.
