On Embedding Culture in College English Teaching

传统英语教学忽视对文化的传授,单一机械的灌输模式使学生在利用英语交际时出现错误和障碍不可避免。在大学英语教学中应运用适当的方法加强文化的教学和对英语文化资源的利用,在教学中教师不断加强自身水平的提高,为大学英语的素质教育打下基础。

The traditional English teaching ignores the teaching of culture,and the single mechanical mode of inculcation teaching enables students to make mistakes and have obstacles in English communication.Therefore,we should use appropriate ways to strengthen culture teaching and usage of English cultural resources in college English teaching as well as improve teacher＇s standard in order to lay the foundation for quality education in English teaching.
