铉本《说文》阙字简析

A Brief Analysis of Interpretation of Words by Xuanben

铉本《说文》全书共44处注明"阙",有形音义全阙者,有三者中阙其一、阙其二者。究其原因,有许慎不明,故注明"阙"者,亦有后人在摹写传抄及校订过程中脱误、增衍、妄改造成的阙字。应对不同的情况加以区分。

There are 44 notes-word＂Que＂in the whole book of Interpretation of Words by Xuanben,in which sometimes font style,pronunciation,meaning are all left out,sometimes one or two of them.Some of them are noted＂Que＂,because Xuanben couldnt make it certain;Some result from lacking,adding,altering word at will,in the course of counter drawing,disclaiming and recessing by descendants.We should differentiate between cases.
