Start with the basic input signal,output signal and system,four fundamental signal analysis tools（impulse response,difference equation,discrete Fourier transform and Z-transform） and the relationship and conversion between them are investigated.The novel developments of ＂Digital Signal Processing＂（digital filter design,various new transforms,multi-rate digital signal processing,power spectrum estimation,time-frequency analysis and wavelet transform） and the inherent relationship between them are discovered.
