在改革开放时期,张岱年提出"建设有中国特色的社会主义新道德"命题。张岱年认为爱国主义、集体主义和社会主义人道主义是新道德的基本原则,忠、信、慈、孝、廉、礼、勤、俭、勇"九德"是新道德的基本规范,并认为应从经济发展与道德进步的关系、道德与法制的关系及企业伦理道德等方面来建构社会主义市场经济道德。张岱年的社会主义新道德观体现了批判继承与综合创新的理论特色,它是建构社会主义道德体系重要的伦理文化资源。

In the process of Reform and Open-up,ZHANG Dai-nian made a proposal of ＂establishing the new socialist concept of Honor and Disgrace with distinctive Chinese characters＂.ZHANG holds that patriotism,collectiveness,and socialist humanism are the basic rules of this new concept,while ＂nine moralities＂ like loyalty,kindness and politeness are the basic norms of this new concept.ZHANG also probes into the relationship between economic development and moral enhancement,so as to establish the moral for socialist market economy.The new socialist concept of honor and disgrace reveals the theoretical features of inheritance and creation.It is the theoretical achievement of the localization of Marxist esthetics in China,and is the important cultural resources of establishing socialist moral system.
