近代初期的日本留学生首先在风俗习惯、物价水平、文明程度等方面受到优势的异质文化——西洋文化的冲击。在与西洋文化的碰撞过程中,留学生的思想发生了变化:一些留学生放弃了原来的狂热的攘夷思想;一些留学生对留学所在国产生了反感、鄙视、排斥的心理;一些留学生在特定时期发出了"留学无用论"的声音。本文将对日本近代留学史上的这些现象进行文化阐释,以揭示其所以发生的历史根源。

In the initial stages of modern times, Japanese student abroad first confront customs prices and civilizations in the occident. In collision with occidental civilization, Some person give up anti-foreigners, Some person begins to have antipathetic feelings scorn and exclusive emotion to the country they are learning, Some person submit ＇studying abroad is worthless＇. This study will expound problem mentioned above, and disclose its historical origin.
