There are many benefits of using coating colors with high solid content, but the rheology would be aggravated to bring runability problems because of highly raising solid content of coating colors.The conventional swelling alkali is not beneficial to improve rheological performance of coating colors with high solid content.The new rheology modifiers avoid the faults of conventional rheology modifiers, they perform very low high-shear viscosity, so the problem of rheology is improved.The new rheology modifiers have a very good applicable prospects.
