Reducing the Wastage of Crude Oil in Pipeline Transportation by Improving the Precision of Transferring Measurement

An introduction is given to the process flow and oil amount calculation of pipeline oil transportation units.By the contrast of oil acceptance and marketing parameters,reasons about the crude oil shortage caused by the standard equipment,environment and staffs are analyzed.At last,some suggestions are put forward about how to improve the precision of crude oil transferring measurement and reduce the wastage of crude oil in pipeline by applying the coefficient transferring of flow meters and by enhancing the supervi-sion for the parameters of volume,density and water-cut in accepting and marketing petroleum.
