将传教士翻译活动纳入历史哲学的范畴思考。通过考察传教士翻译活动(外译中与中译外)的背景、过程和影响,归纳了这种有意识的逻辑活动在中西文化交流史上产生的非逻辑结果:二项悖论。讨论了二项悖论的成因、形成条件和具体内涵。

The missionary translation campaign will be taken into consideration in a special perspective of historic philosophy.Through observing the backgound,processes and influences of the Jesuits translation campaign（from Western languages to Chinese and vice versa）,the two paradoxes are to be concluded——the non-logical outcome occurring from the logical campaign in the Sino-Western cultural exchange.The paradox connotations and cultural implications are concerned.
