Confucianism's Contribution to Formation of Literature Tradition in Ancient China

文献在中国古代生活中发挥着特别重要的作用,形成中国古代的文献传统。在这一过程中,儒学对中国早期重要的文献文本的形成作出过重要贡献,并表现出儒学的"文献主义"的特征。儒学也使古代文献的批评功能得到倡导和提升。对于文献在国家政治中发挥重要作用,早期儒学也有筚路蓝缕之功。

Historical literature played an exceptionally important role in life in ancient China,thus contributing to the formation of ancient literature tradition.In this process,Confucianism had made a major contribution to formation of the earliest historical literature texts and displayed its documentary characteristics.It also promoted and enhanced the critical function of ancient historical literature.In terms of the significant part literature plays in national politics,early Confucianism had played a pioneering role.
