The translated version selects one chapter from Joseph Rock＇s biography,covering the work and life experience of Joseph Rock from the beginning of 1930 to the end of 1933 in Yunnan area,some short journeys in America and some other places.In the writing,Joseph Rock observed the social situation of China at the beginning of last century,described the social situation of that time and commented the missionary activity of priests.Although his viewpoints were limited by his standpoint,it was not without benefits in understanding history of that time.
