Implication of ＂Zone of Proximal Development＂ Theory to the Computer and Internet Assisted College English Teaching

随着教育研究的深入,前苏联心理学家维果茨基的＂最近发展区＂理论越发彰显出旺盛的生命力,并对当前的各级各类教育、教学实践产生了积极深远的影响。＂最近发展区＂理论应与我国目前流行的多媒体网络英语教学相结合,让教师充分认识并运用＂最近发展区＂理论,掌握好实践＂最近发展区＂的＂度＂,最终使多媒体网络英语教学在促进学生英语潜能发展、创设互动性语言学习手段等方面发挥更大的作用。

Vygotsky＇s ＂Zone of Proximal Development＂（ZPD） Theory has been becoming more and more important with development of educational research.The paper takes ＂Zone of Proximal Development＂ theory as a base combined with widely used computer assisted college English teaching to make teachers fully understand and give full play to it to promote students development of potential.Meanwhile,it uses ZPD theory to create interactive language learning methods and let it serve as multi roles in college computer assisted teaching.
