The present paper theoretically discussed the relationship between power factor and economic benefit.Examples were also used to analyze the increasing the demand side power factor.Therefore,this paper provides principal and practical basis to achieve energy save,low wastage,power quality improvement and make electric network work safe,economical and high efficient.Thus social and economic benefit of the whole society will also be improved.
