摘要 互联网的快速发展、多媒体和实时业务的涌现对路由技术提出了新的要求,通过将第二层交换引入到第三层路由当中可以很好地改善路由。在这方面比较突出的是IPSwitching(IP交换),TagSwitching(标签交换),ARIS,CSR和MPLS。本文对这几种技术分别做了论述,并着重讨论了IPSwitching技术,将IPSwitching技术与MPOA做了比较。 The rapid growth of Internet and increase in real-time and multimedia applications have created a need to improve routing technology. Several proposals involving application of layer 2 switching technology to layer 3 routing have been made to counter above challenges. Noticeable efforts in this directions are IP Switching. Tag Switching,ARIS, CSR and MPLS. This paper does a survey of these approaches, especially IP Switching and gives comparison between IP Switching and MPOA.
