摘要
各种新的带宽增强型应用促使人们对网络提出了更高的要求,千兆比以太网以其优秀的网络性能脱颖而出。本文介绍了IEEE802.3z千兆比以太网标准以及它与其它技术结合的优势,最后通过实例说明了网络如何升级到千兆比以太网的过程。
Various bandwidth.- intensive applications spur higher demand for networks. Gigabit Ethernet is met with general approval because of its excellent performance. This paper introduces IEEE 802. 3z Gigabit Ethernet standards and the advantages of combining Gigabit Ethenet with other technologies . Gigabit Ethernet migration sceneries are also described.
