张爱玲的小说无一例外地透出一股苍凉意境,仿佛她的每一个细胞里都浸透了没落意识,她整个人都是凉的。因此,透过她的小说我们往往会阅读到人性深处生命的苦难。笔者通过张爱玲小说创作中没落意识的表现及其形成原因,探讨没落意识对其小说创作及艺术风格形成的影响。

Eileen Zhang＇s novels,has shown a bleak mood,without exception,from which we feel a strong sense of decaying.Through her novels we sense the depths of human nature-our pains and suffering in life,the inevitable life misery.This paper will probe that why her writing displays awareness of decline and how the awareness of decaying influences her novels style.
